COME Button Opens a Page but No APK Downloads

If the COME button opens a website and no file appears, first check whether a transfer was offered or started. Opening the app entry and downloading a package are separate actions.

Look for a transfer, not just a new tab

Open the Downloads view in the browser that handled the tap. A completed, active or failed entry tells you something happened to a file. A new tab only tells you that a page opened. If there is no relevant entry, return to the page and look for its current Android option instead of searching the whole phone for a file that was never saved.

Note which browser app is involved. A link opened inside another app can use a different browsing surface from your usual browser. If you switch browsers deliberately, confirm the destination and start from the current page there. Do not launch multiple transfers just to discover which app is handling them.

Choose the branch that matches the screen

If the page offers an Android package, read its details before starting the transfer. If it opens the service itself, browse the available account or app options there. If it shows an error or cannot load, work on that page-loading problem first. None of these screens proves that Android has attempted installation.

If the browser reports a blocked pop-up or download, read the message and identify what the site attempted. Do not allow every pop-up or turn off device protection as a generic fix. A request to allow one action and a harmful-file warning are different situations with different consequences.

Use a controlled retry

When a transfer actually fails, record the error and test the connection with another ordinary page. Resume or retry through the browser's supported action if appropriate, then watch for a completed entry. Repeatedly tapping the page button can create duplicate requests and hide which attempt finished.

When the page itself repeatedly fails, keep the address and approximate time for a support question. Leave out account secrets and private query details. An inability to load a page does not tell you whether the cause is the network, service availability or a regional condition.

Example: a web page loads successfully

You tap Open COME app page, see the service in a browser and find no entry in Downloads. That is a successful page opening, not a failed installation. Continue by identifying the Android option on the page. Only after a file is saved does it make sense to look for an Android installer prompt.

If you already have COME installed and only wanted to return to the app, opening the working installation can answer that need without saving a second package. Keep the intended task in view rather than treating every visit as a fresh installation.

Know when to stop

You have resolved the no-file question when you can identify either the offered download and its status, or that you are simply viewing the service page. Stop retrying if the destination is unexpected or the phone raises a security warning.
